Our History

Since 1988 Accounting Micro systems has continued to maintain the same enthusiasm and commitment to satisfying our customers as we did on day one.

Originally Sage Software and accounting professionals, our practice has grown to include SAP solutions as well. We have also evolved from pure technology implementation specialists to a full fledged business consulting practice that advises small and mid-sized organizations on how to better use technology to help grow their businesses.

Throughout the years we have worked with manufacturing, distribution, non-profits, professional services, and other industries in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our focus on local businesses reflects our commitment to our community, while our constant search for challenging projects is what drives us to excel in everything we do.

Our History with Sage Software and SAP

We have always been early adopters of technology.  We have worked with Sage Sofware since MAS 90 was released in the early 80’s and have been doing MAS 500 implementations since its first release in 1996.  When SAP introduced Business One to the United States in 2003, AMS was recruited to represent this solution in the Bay Area.  We evaluated this new offering and decided to add it to our product portfolio. AMS has also been implementing SAP Business ByDesign (SAP’s cloud-based ERP system) since it was first made available.

Having been around this long means we have worked first hand with the leading ERP products since their early beginnings and know these products inside-out. We are accustomed to their release cycles, are familiar with how patches are applied, and have led many clients through smooth upgrade processes without disrupting operations.

Our longevity also points to our solid financial situation and the fact that we are here for the long term. We want to create long-lasting relationships with our clients and help them grow their business. Our consultants have been with the company for an average of over ten years and are always in the forefront of technology.
